  1. I was in a meeting early last week (a few days following the Orlando tragedy) with a woman who had been teaching a class at the Lone Star campus in Texas when a student went through the halls slashing people. She had 24 students in her classroom and could hear screams outside her room. She made the decision to stay with her students and not help outside because she did not know the situation. She was brave enough to tell the group her emotional story. Having been through it, she said the problem is not guns or knives or any weapon, she said the issue is hatred. Thoughts?
