As an author, social scientist and lawyer, Riane Eisler has been a pioneer in showing how women’s rights (and therefore human rights) are the building blocks of world peace.
Eisler’s international bestseller, The Chalice and the Blade, outlines the need for a cultural transformation, moving from the politics of dominance to the practice of partnership. The Chalice and the Blade has had an international impact few books ever have – with 23 foreign editions in print.
Sought around the world for her speaking talents, Dr. Eisler has delivered addresses to the German Parliament as well as in the Czech Republic at the invitation of President Vaclav Havel. She has been named one of the world’s 20 Great Peacemakers. Riane Eisler is currently president of the Center for Partnership Studies.
